Giving Back

This island and its people will give you more than you ever expected.

As a thank you to the people and a way to give back to the island, a donation in each of your names will be made to Mr. Braulio Sjogreen’s El Chibolo Fiwi Roots School and Nursery. Mr. Sjogreen opens his doors to all Providence students, teaching them the importance of a healthy environment and the role trees play in it. At the school, kids get hands-on experience growing trees from seed in the nursery, then planting them on the island and nurturing them until they can stand on their own. During your stay, we recommend taking the time to visit Braulio, his school, and the nursery and see for yourself the good that he is doing.
