Hello, my name is Joe Keys, I live in Western Colorado and have been a river and backcountry guide/outfitter for more than 30 years now, guiding guests on adventures all over the West.
My wife Dari and I have been traveling to South and Central America during our off seasons for many years. We first went to Providencia in 2019. We loved it so much we went back in the spring of 2020. We arrived on the first of March and while we were there, COVID-19 reared its ugly head worldwide. Our month-long trip turned into a two-and-a-half month stay in paradise. During our extended stay, we made some great friends in the tourism business and our network has grown from there. I have been back in 2022 and 2023 making contacts and have found some of the greatest island hosts who would love to have Americans come visit their island paradise.
